Facebook Security Antivirus trial
Facebook has partnered with five companies (Microsoft, McAfee, TrendMicro, Sophos, and Symantec) to provide users with access to full version antivirus software free for six months.
Facebook lets you download licenses to full versions of antivirus software from the AV Marketplace.
After six months you’ll have to pay for the license.

The five security companies will add their URL blacklist databases to Facebook’s own system so that FB users will be protected by the combined intelligence blacklists of the security industry.
Facebook’s URL blacklist system, which already scans trillions of clicks per day, will now incorporate the malicious URL databases from these companies.
This means that whenever you click a link in Facebook, it will be checked against Facebook’s blacklist, and also the blacklists from Microsoft, McAfee, TrendMicro, Sophos, and Symantec.
The security companies will be writing posts on FacebooK Security providing security updates and materials to help FB users keep themselves, and their data, safe.
